When and where is the Hunger Walk?
Because of COVID-19 concerns, the 2020 Hunger Walk will be done on your own - your way, your style, on your time.
How do I register for the walk?
No registration required for 2020.
I am unable to walk. How can I help?
Donations can be made securely online by using the "donate" button at the top right corner of this webpage. Donations can also be mailed to the Interfaith Federation office at 3112 Convention Street, Baton Rouge 70806. All proceeds from the Hunger Walk are shared by Holy Grill, the Interfaith Federation's feeding ministry, and the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank.
How long is the walk?
The Hunger Walk is normally 2 miles, but this "on your own" walk can be as short or as long as you want it to be. You decide !
I'm in high school. Can I get service hours by participating in this event?
High school students may be able to design an activity with classmates to help fight hunger and/or increase awareness about hunger and receive service credit. Talk to the service coordinator at your school and send us your presentations or videos for posting on our Facebook page !
